Teen Swept Away by Wave While Taking Selfie on Moroccan Coast

A 15-year-old girl was swept away on Friday by a wave while trying to take a photo of herself in the Rabat region, near the Al Mohit neighborhood.

The civil protection and the competent authorities went to the scene to find her body and initiate the procedures in such cases.

The victim was on the coast, accompanied by her sister. So far, all the details of this case are unknown and no statement from the local authorities has confirmed the death or specified the circumstances.
