Teacher Hospitalized After Scorpion Sting in Chefchaouen, Morocco

In Chefchaouen, scorpions continue to claim victims. The latest case concerns a teacher recently sent to Béni Smih.
Another person has fallen victim to a scorpion sting in Chefchaouen. This time, it is a teacher who was recently transferred to Chefchaouen, reports Barlamane.
The incident took place at the teacher’s home, in the locality of Béni Smih, a rural area without educational opportunities or a school culture, the same source indicates.
After this scorpion sting, the victim was taken to the Provincial Hospital of Tétouan.
Scorpion stings are recurrent in several cities in Morocco, particularly in Chefchaouen. They account for 35 to 50% of all reported poisonings, the same source recalls.
