Tangier Prepares Luxury Development Near Central Station for 2025 CAN and 2030 World Cup

The board of directors of the Tangier Urban Agency is expected to meet next week to validate the development plan for an area located near the city’s central station. Good news for real estate professionals.
While waiting for the adoption of this development plan, real estate developers in the Strait city are reportedly preparing to relaunch pending projects in this area of approximately 160 hectares, according to sources at Hespress, specifying that this domain should accommodate luxury residences, as well as hotels and other tourist complexes, in anticipation of the 2025 Morocco CAN and the 2030 World Cup.
Several entrepreneurs in the city had complained to the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Karim Zidane, about the "complications they face and which compromise their future due to the acquisition of land in this area at high prices, before activities were frozen there," the same sources recall.
The Urban Agency’s board of directors is also expected to adopt the redevelopment plan for the Tangier-city district, a document eagerly awaited by many residents and real estate developers in the city, according to the same sources. Moreover, several road construction projects are underway to improve traffic flow in the city, in anticipation of the 2025 Morocco CAN and the 2030 World Cup.
