Tangier’s Long-Awaited Bowling Alley Project Resumes, Set for 2020 Completion

After nearly four years of lethargy, the construction of the Tangier bowling alley will be completed in 2020.
The Agency for the Promotion and Economic and Social Development of the Prefectures and Provinces of the North has taken out of its drawers the project to build the Tangier bowling alley, which has been paralyzed since 2016, reports Challenge.
At a cost of 12 million dirhams (excluding ancillary equipment), the contract has finally been awarded following a call for tenders. Thus, the work will start before the end of this year, to be completed, it is promised, in 2020.
Once completed, the bowling alley will consist of a pétanque playing field, laid out to international standards, and stands for spectators, with a capacity of several hundred seats.
To recall, King Mohammed VI had launched, in 2013, the sports dimension of the very giant territorial program, Tangier-Metropolis, of which the construction of the bowling alley is a part.
