Tangier Factory Owner Questioned in Deadly Flood Tragedy

Adil Boullaili, the owner of the textile factory in which several workers died in a flood on February 8 in Tanger, was heard by the police. The man is one of the survivors of this tragedy that has shocked Moroccans.
Following this tragedy, Adil Boullaili was hospitalized in a private clinic. From the hospital, he was transferred to the headquarters of the Tanger police prefecture, to be questioned as part of the investigation opened to determine the responsibilities of each of the actors responsible for the death of 28 people, including women and minors. The owner, after the police stage, should be brought before the public prosecutor’s office for further action on this matter.
Adil Boullaili, who was in the workshop, was saved thanks to some workers who rescued him. He was hospitalized, in a state of shock, and placed under police surveillance. In a statement, his brother claims that the latter had to leave the clinic "while he is not yet fully recovered", and that his state of health is still "severely degraded", reports le360.
The police also questioned the workers who survived this deadly flood, which has brought back the issue of clandestine workshops operating illegally, endangering the lives of employees who agree to work under difficult conditions.
