Tanger Med: A controversial recruitment

Zineb Simou, the parliamentarian of the Rassemblement National des Indépendants (RNI) party, has questioned the government of Aziz Akhannouch about a recruitment at the port of Tanger Med deemed exclusive.
In a written question addressed to the Minister of Economic Integration, Small and Medium Enterprises, Employment and Skills, the deputy Zineb Simou explained that the call for applications for the recruitment of 140 people at the Tanger Med port launched towards workers from different regions of Morocco has caused great discontent among the young unemployed in the north of Morocco. Considering that this decision excludes the inhabitants of the region, she asks the minister if the local authorities of the region were consulted before this decision was made.
The RNI elected official wants to know the criteria that will be defined in the recruitment process of workers at the Tanger port. She also asks the minister to clarify the measures he will take to ensure that the young unemployed in northern Morocco have access to employment opportunities at the Tanger Med port.
