Swiss Airline Edelweiss Air Expands Winter Flights to Morocco and Egypt

The airline Edelweiss Air will operate more flights to Africa, particularly to Agadir and Marrakech, from Zurich as part of its winter 2023/24 flight program.
In total, 23 flights per week to Egypt, reinforcements in Spain, the Balearic and Canary Islands, not to mention the Moroccan destination. Edelweiss Air is embarking on a major expansion in Africa next winter. The service to Agadir-Al Massira (Morocco) "will become direct twice a week during the next winter season," reports Air Journal. Weekly rotations will increase from 2 to 4 for Marrakech-Menara - with direct return (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), it is specified.
In a press release, Edelweiss Air recalls that "it’s summer all year round in Egypt". The company "will fly to Egypt’s most popular holiday destinations again this winter and offer an even wider range with up to 23 frequencies per week". The SWISS-affiliated leisure airline, based at Zurich-Kloten airport, also plans to double to 4 per week the number of flights to Sharm El Sheikh.
