Suspects Arrested in Murder of Scandinavian Tourists in Morocco

After three days of tracking, the three individuals accused of murdering the two Scandinavian tourists near Mount Toubkal were arrested this Thursday morning by the police.
According to sources cited by the Alyaoum24 website, they are three men known for their extremist ideas. All three held precarious jobs (street vendors and carpenter) and are mostly from the city of Marrakech.
The three men were arrested this morning in Marrakech, near the bus station, as they were trying to flee the city, the same source said.
"The accused were arrested in the city of Marrakech and are currently undergoing a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office in order to determine the circumstances of this criminal act, reveal its true motives as well as the terrorist motive of this crime, which was supported by evidence and data from the investigation procedures," the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) said in a statement this morning.
The first suspect had been arrested on Monday morning in Marrakech, after tips from the residents of the town of Imilil, about ten kilometers from the murder site. All four had been filmed on Sunday night into Monday by the cameras of a guest house.
