Suspected Donkey Meat Discovery Sparks Health Concerns in Beni Ensar

Residents of downtown Beni Ensar discovered a head and remains of a slaughtered donkey and expressed deep outrage at this criminal act, which poses a threat to safety and health.
Panicked, the residents are questioning the fate of the donkey meat, pieces of bones of which were found in front of the garbage containers, near the city’s municipal market this week. Informed, the local authorities and the police services arrived on the scene. They carried out an inspection on the ground. They also took the necessary steps in the vicinity of the area.
Outraged, the residents of Beni Ensar have called on the competent authorities to fulfill their duties rigorously and to reveal the true details of what happened, as well as to uncover the person or network responsible for this odious criminal act. They suspect them of being involved in the clandestine trade of animal meat, secretly selling it for human consumption, particularly to street vendors and fast food establishments, numerous in the different areas of the city center and the neighborhoods of Beni Ensar, reports the local website Nadorcity.
A group of Beni Ensar residents has called on the competent authorities to intervene strictly and enforce the law regarding the phenomenon of street vendors and fast food establishments, particularly those that are not authorized. They also asked to monitor the city’s slaughterhouses and the conditions of meat sales in the various markets and commercial spaces, and to intensify inspections to protect the health and safety of the city’s residents and visitors.
