Survey: 71% of Moroccan Professionals Willing to Emigrate for Career Advancement

More than 70% of Moroccans want to leave Morocco to advance their careers. This is the result of a survey conducted by the largest recruitment website in the Middle East.
71% of executives are ready to change field or sector if it allows them to emigrate, while 49% want to hold higher positions. These are the conclusions of a survey conducted by Bayt, the largest recruitment website in the Middle East, in cooperation with YouGov.
A previous survey conducted in December 2021 had shown that 70% of Moroccans were considering emigrating. Seven out of ten young Moroccans want to emigrate and 83% are not satisfied with their lives, reveals a study conducted by the National Observatory of Human Development (ONDH).
The percentage of young Moroccans wishing to emigrate is the highest in the Arab region. This strong desire to go abroad is explained by the fact that these young people see it as an opportunity to enrich themselves and strengthen their professional skills and qualifications. In addition to the young, doctors, engineers and experienced technicians also want to leave Morocco.
