Survey: Majority of Moroccan Workers Report No Productivity Drop During Ramadan

Long considered to be a period that combines fatigue and a drop in productivity, the holy month of Ramadan seems to bring more serenity to Moroccans at work. This is what a Rekrute survey has just revealed, in which 52% of Moroccan employees surveyed believe that Ramadan has no impact on their professional life.
Contrary to the widespread theory that compares the holy month of Ramadan to a period of slowdown or indifference in various sectors of social life, a Rekrute survey now provides a contrary opinion.
Indeed, 52% of Moroccans recognize themselves as being more "patient and serene at work" during the holy month. To this majority of employees, several questions were asked, including two essentially. "How do you experience the Ramadan period at work?" or "what impact do you find on your productivity?". To these two questions addressed to the 1,945 Moroccan employees as part of the Rekrute survey, cited by HuffPost Maroc, 52% of them "indicate that Ramadan has no impact on their professional life, 29% believe that this month has positive effects on them while 19% think it affects them negatively".
However, an obvious thing, the majority of Moroccans who are required to travel do not really or not at all feel a drop in productivity. It must be emphasized, 48% of active people who are required to travel as part of their position feel a drop in pace which is necessarily linked to fasting: heat, thirst and physical fatigue.
Rekrute indicates that the status of the respondents reveals that 51% of them are employees, 33% are executives and 16% are managers, mainly men (71% against 29% women) whose age is, for the most part, between 25 and 34 years old. It specifies above all that the majority of respondents say they are "serene and patient" during this month. All things made possible in other respects, by "sharing and empathy, values strongly linked to the month of Ramadan", supposed to have a positive effect on the behavior of employees in the office.
