Survey: Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Tops Moroccans’ Dream Vacation Destinations

Dakhla is the favorite city of Moroccans. This is what a survey conducted by the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT) on the tourist regions of the Kingdom has just revealed.
"Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma", "Marrakech-Safi", "Dakhla-Oued Eddahab", and "Souss-Massa", are the regions that make Moroccans dream the most. In this ranking, the "Dakhla-Oued Eddahab" region comes out on top. But before that, the respondents were asked the following question: "Which region makes you dream the most?". It is on this basis that the respondents chose their favorite regions among the 12 regions of the Kingdom.
The Vice-President General of the CNT, Fouzi Zemrani, affirms that this is an unsurprising result. According to him, during the long months of confinement, the surveyed Moroccans dreamed of escapes, wide open spaces and the high seas.
This survey, which recorded several thousand votes, is the fourth organized by Tourisma Post and the CNT. Over the years, this award has become a real lever for promoting regions for domestic tourism. Each of the four regions will have a fact sheet to promote its destination.
