Study Ranks Morocco Among Countries with Highest Levels of Racial Intolerance

King’s College London, a prestigious British higher education institution, conducted a study on levels of racism in different countries, including Morocco, Egypt and Spain.
The study is part of the World Values Survey (WVS). King’s College London compared global norms of trust and acceptance of people of other origins in 24 countries. These countries are: Iran, Russia, Japan, China, Greece, Morocco, South Korea, Egypt, Poland, Italy, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Spain, Nigeria, France, Australia, Canada, United States, Norway, United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil and Sweden. Nationals of these 24 countries were asked who they would not want as a neighbor.
With 42%, Iran tops the ranking of countries that have shown prejudices towards immigrants and foreign workers. It is followed by Russia (32), Japan (30),
