Nearly 45% (44.1%) of Moroccans trust the information disseminated on social media, according to a study on the attitude of Arab public opinion conducted by the Arab Center for Research and Political Studies.

According to the study, Moroccans have less confidence in the information published on the pages of celebrities and influencers, with nearly 50% of Moroccans who follow the pages of the latter on social media, trusting the information published.
The study was conducted in 14 Arab countries including Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. Its objective is to analyze trends in Arab public opinion on economic and social issues.
A total of 33,300 people (men and women) were surveyed as part of this study within representative samples in the countries mentioned.
