Study: 60% of Moroccan Adults Report Smartphones Disrupting Their Sex Lives

In total, 60% of Moroccan adults are facing sexual problems due to the use and consultation of their mobile phone in bed. This is revealed by a study commissioned by the sexual health service of the Cheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed International University Hospital in Casablanca.
The preliminary results of the survey will be made public this Thursday, December 12 at a press conference, reports the newspaper Assabah to whom the sexual health service of the hospital has given the scoop.
The study sample consists of 600 young adults. 60% of them said that the presence of smartphones and others in the conjugal bed ruins their sex life with their spouses. 50% say they "are not comfortable" sexually given the place the mobile phone occupies in their lives.
The study reveals that men aged between 20 and 45 are the most affected, with a decline in sexual "performance" for 60% of them. 35% of respondents admit to having lost their libido.
The study also indicates that 16% of the men surveyed suffer from premature ejaculation and 20% of the women from pain at the beginning of any sexual relationship. And the presence of screens (televisions, computers, tablets and others) in their bedrooms only aggravates the situation.
