Students Protest Private University Housing Fees After COVID-19 Lockdown

At the end of the confinement period outside private university residences, students are demanding compensation, but the administration of the establishments categorically refuses.
"The right to demand a refund" is the main demand of the students. They believe that since they did not benefit from the services of the residences during the three months of confinement, demanding a refund is a legitimate approach. But for the administration of these private university residences, it is quite the opposite. Through a press release, it states that administrative services and on-call duty were provided throughout the said period for students who were forced to remain on the premises, reports Le360.
For these establishments, their commitment has been honored, therefore considering that no fees are to be refunded. The representative of the students of Ibn Tofail University under the supervision of the General Union of Moroccan Students, disagrees with this line of defense of the administration. He considers that this request from the students is indeed a legitimate approach.
