Student Arrested in Morocco for Selling High-Tech Exam Cheating Devices

In Oujda, the judicial police services arrested a 24-year-old student, specialized in selling cheating equipment for the baccalaureate.
The young student was arrested as he was about to sell a batch of wireless earpieces and VIP Pro cards to future exam candidates, reports the Arabic-language daily Al Akhbar. During his arrest, he had in his possession 20 wireless earpieces and an undetermined number of VIP Pro cards. These latest model invisible communication kits allow discreet communication with another person. Pending the opening of an investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the accused was placed in custody.
Prior to this operation, the law enforcement authorities had caught a trafficker of electronic devices intended for the cheating market in exams in Salé, in the Laâyayda police district. A young man barely 20 years old who was in possession of 62 wireless earpieces, 400 SIM cards, as well as 96 other devices.
