Statistics Agency Predicts Low Odds for Morocco’s World Cup Advancement

The probability that Morocco will reach the round of 16 is very low. This is what a famous statistics agency predicts.
The Gracenote agency, a company specializing in data collection and statistics, has relied on "more than a million simulations that produce estimates showing the team most likely to fill each position in the knockout stages" to make forecasts focused on the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. It emerges that Morocco (40%) is among the countries that could not reach the round of 16, ahead of Tunisia (35%), Qatar (12%). Cameroon (4%) is completely at the bottom of the scale.
With 98%, Brazil tops the list of countries likely to progress in the competition, followed by the Netherlands (91%), Spain (90%), England and France (87%), Ecuador and Belgium (86%), Portugal (83%) and Japan (77%). Switzerland (67th) is ranked ahead of Saudi Arabia (66%) who won their opening match against Argentina. The latter has a 58% chance of progressing in the World Cup in Qatar.
"As soon as the World Cup is in full swing, new simulations will be carried out using the latest information," the agency specifies.
