US State Department Upgrades Morocco to Safe Travel Destination for Americans

Morocco is a safe country for American travelers, according to the latest report from the US State Department, which nevertheless calls for vigilance.
In a notice published on its website, the US State Department has updated travel advisories for travelers wishing to take advantage of their vacation during the month of September. And Morocco, which was previously a less safe area, is now part of the safe countries. Each country is assigned a travel warning level from 1 to 4. Level 1 recommends taking precautions, level 2 redoubling them, level 3 "reconsidering travel" and level 4 avoiding going to the country in question.
In this new list of countries to visit or avoid, Morocco has received a level 1 travel advisory. Kuwait and Mauritius have also been classified as safe areas with a level 1 travel advisory from the State Department, but with some warnings. "Those heading to Kuwait have been warned not to go to the border with Iraq, while travelers to Mauritius should be aware of the high level of Covid-19 in the country".
No country has been placed at level 4, that is, the areas to be avoided, but only one country has been classified in the level 3 category. This is Mauritania, which according to the State Department is a destination to be reconsidered "due to crime and terrorism. Certain areas have been designated as prohibited by the Mauritanian army. According to the study, violent crimes such as assaults, armed robberies and assaults are common".
