Stars mobilize to help Morocco

French comedians are mobilizing to raise funds for Morocco, which has just been hit by a deadly earthquake.
Booder confirmed that aid is being set up for Morocco. "With Jamel (Debbouze, editor’s note), Arthur, theaters that are ready to open their doors to do shows and send donations to Morocco... We’re trying to calibrate it all so that it doesn’t go in all directions and that it’s really beneficial," the Moroccan-origin comedian said on the BFMTV microphone.
Booder says he is relieved after talking to his family in Morocco. "I had to call my parents who are there, my uncles, my aunts, do a tour of the family to see if everyone was doing well. I have family who were at the table at that time. [...] They had never experienced this, it’s indescribable. There was a wind of panic."
A magnitude 6.8 earthquake hit part of Morocco on Friday night into Saturday, killing thousands and leaving many seriously injured.
