US Star Pulisic Praises Absent Ziyech Ahead of Morocco Friendly
American international Christian Pulisic, who plays for Chelsea, spoke about the absence of his teammate, Hakim Ziyech, from the Moroccan squad that will face the US team in a friendly match this Wednesday.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference held on Tuesday, the Chelsea striker lavished praise on his club teammate, mentioning his non-selection for the confrontation with the United States, which is part of the preparations for the World Cup in Qatar.
"Ziyech is a good player. He is one of Chelsea’s best players. I was concerned about his non-participation with the Moroccan national team. But he told me he is happy," he said.
Regarding tonight’s match, Pulisic believes the Moroccan national team is one of the best in Africa and has talented players. "Morocco has a good team that we have a lot of respect for."
