Sports Stars Flock to Marrakech for Summer Vacations

Karim Benzema arrived in Marrakech this week. The French striker of the Saudi club Al Ittihad has already participated in a match with friends on a pitch located on the outskirts of the city. Like him, the Algerian international Saïd Benrahma, playing for West Ham, has chosen the ochre city to spend his summer vacation.

Maria Sharapova, former world tennis star, has also had a good time in Marrakech. The Russian has posted on her social networks photos of her visiting tourist sites in the ochre city in the company of a group of friends. In addition to these global celebrities, Atlas Lions such as Hakim Ziyech, Bilal El Khannouss, Ismael Saibari and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli have also reported their presence in the tourist city, posting photos of Marrakech on their social networks.

Every summer, stars from the world of sports, internationally renowned artists and politicians from various countries storm the city of Marrakech to spend quality moments there. Last year, Kylian Mbappé, accompanied by his friend and former PSG teammate, Achraf Hakimi, were in Marrakech. Eduardo Camavinga of Real Madrid or N’Golo Kanté of Al-Ittihad had also visited the ochre city. Cristiano Ronaldo, for his part, had inaugurated his hotel in Marrakech a few years ago.
