Spanish TikToker Shares Money and Safety Tips for Morocco Travel

In a video posted on TikTok, a young Spanish woman gives travel tips to tourists planning to visit Morocco, recommending among other things to always have cash on hand and to "be wary" of taxi drivers.
"Always have cash on hand! You can hardly pay anything with a card" in Morocco, the Spanish tiktoker advised, indicating that the digital payment system is not as widespread in the kingdom as in other countries. However, travelers will be able to exchange money easily: "You can change money on the spot. There are many exchange offices or you can withdraw money from an ATM with a Revolut card".
The young Spanish woman also drew the attention of tourists to boarding passes. "To leave the country with some airlines, like Ryanair, you will have to have your boarding passes. Don’t worry, in the most touristy cities, you’ll easily find shops where you can print them," she explained.
The content creator also urged caution for travel by taxi in Moroccan cities: "Be careful with taxi drivers, as some are very cunning," she warned, recommending that tourists always ask drivers to turn the meter on. "If they refuse, negotiate the price in advance to avoid surprises".
On the other hand, the tiktoker recommends public bus companies such as CTM or Nejme Chamal, or the train: "There are many bus connections and a rail network that connects the most important cities". For accommodation, the Spanish woman invites you to have a unique experience in traditional riads. To have a good internet connection during their stay in Morocco, she advises them to buy a Maroc Telecom or Orange SIM card.
