Spanish Singer Sparks Outrage Over Alleged Racist Comment About Moroccan Thief

Spanish singer Ana Guerra has drawn the ire of Internet users after writing in a recent post that she was the victim of a theft by a Moroccan. A post deemed racist.
"While I was taking these photos, a Moroccan stole my bag," Ana Guerra wrote in a post on her Instagram account, provoking scathing criticism from Internet users who accuse her of being racist for mentioning the Moroccan nationality of the thief.
Following these criticisms, the Canarian singer modified the post, replacing the word "Moroccan" with "boy". But the initial text, with the mention of the Moroccan nationality of the thief, remained on social networks because the Internet users had taken screenshots before the modification.
In the rest of the post, Ana Guerra explains that it was her companion, Victor Elias, who noticed that the thief had taken her bag and "gently asked (with a tight face)" to return it to her. "Thank you darling for the photos and the bag," the message concludes.
