Spanish Firm Lantania to Build $9.7 Million Wastewater Plant in Morocco’s Salé

The Spanish company Lantania has just obtained the necessary authorizations for the construction in Morocco of a wastewater treatment plant for a total of 8.9 million euros.
The Spanish infrastructure, water and energy group will build in Salé, in partnership with the local company Atner, a wastewater treatment plant for the city. The work will last 18 months and cost 8.9 million euros, according to El Confidencial Digital.

The new plant will have a wastewater treatment capacity of 75,000 inhabitants and a daily flow of 10,000 cubic meters. The wastewater will then undergo pre-treatment and biological treatment.

Lantania will also build in Slovakia, with the local company Cedis, the secondary sewerage network of the city of Drahovce for 9.2 million euros. The group is also in charge of the rehabilitation work on the Volujak-Petarch railway line for 47 million euros and the modernization of the Plovdiv railway hub for 67.7 million euros in Bulgaria.
