The Spanish group Daifressh, a specialist in berries and citrus fruits, will increase its production in Morocco, where it now has an additional 140 hectares.

In Morocco, Daifressh has 80 ha of raspberry production. Recently, it has acquired an additional 140 hectares, divided between 105ha of blueberries and 35ha of raspberries to be exploited in the coming years. In addition to Morocco, the multinational based in Sagunto, Valencia also wants to develop its berry production in Poland. "[...] Our goal for 2030 is to have a total of 300ha of productive land. This will strengthen our position as one of the largest berry producers in Poland and Central Europe," says Ana Claramunt, CEO of Daifressh.

And she continues: "We are focusing on the use of different origins for our own production and we are encouraging long-term agreements with our Dai-Growers group to continue to grow as producers and consolidate ourselves as trusted suppliers to our customers for 52 weeks of the year."
