Spanish Airline Binter Launches New Gran Canaria-Fez Route, Boosting Morocco Connections

The Spanish airline Binter is making a strong comeback in Morocco by inaugurating a new route connecting the cities of Gran Canaria and Fez.
The inaugural flight took place on Saturday with a plane departing from the Spanish airport of Gran Canaria for a landing at Fez-Saiss Airport in Morocco. The aircraft carried 69 passengers, mostly Moroccans residing in Spain, who say they appreciated this opportunity to return to Morocco in less than three hours.
For the director of Fez-Saiss Airport, Mostapha El Khoudri, this new route is important in that it connects the Fez-Meknes Region to major global destinations. He emphasizes that since the resumption of activities, the airport has been able to record around 490,000 passengers, and there will be more with the new airlines that are announced or want to strengthen the number of connections to this airport platform.
In addition to Fez, the Binter company will connect the Canary Islands to Marrakech, Agadir, Guelmim, Laayoune and Dakhla this summer.
