Spain Considers PCR Test Requirement for Travelers from High-Risk Countries

Travelers from countries with very high covid-19 infection rates must present the results of a PCR test upon arrival in Spain. Is Morocco one of these countries?
According to the director of the Center for the Coordination of Health Alerts and Emergencies, Fernando Simon, this requirement is the subject of discussions between Spain and other countries that want to introduce the same measure. It is a "difficult" approach to implement but the experts have already started a discussion on this subject, the epidemiologist specified.
For the moment, travelers arriving in Spain are subject to temperature checks. They are required to fill out a health questionnaire to facilitate contact tracing in the event of contagion.
Fernando Simon believes that these controls are "sufficient" for all visitors but also explains that PCR tests may be required for travelers from high-risk countries. It remains to be seen whether Morocco is one of them.
