Sound Energy and Afriquia Gaz Partner to Commercialize Natural Gas in Morocco

Sound Energy and Afriquia Gaz are joining forces for the commercialization of natural gas in Morocco. The announcement of a partnership between the two parties was made by the executive chairman of Sound Energy, Graham Lyon.
Interviewed by London South East, the executive chairman of Sound Energy, Graham Lyon, had addressed the current situation of the company and its activity in the east of the kingdom. It is in this wake that he reported a convention between Sound Energy and Afriquia Gaz, the subsidiary of the AKWA group, in order to facilitate the commercialization of the gas produced in Morocco, informs Medias24. Addressing the steps in this direction, Lyon is pleased with the progress made: "We have made substantial progress in the discussions. Afriquia Gaz is one of the major players in the distribution of gas and LNG (liquefied natural gas) in Morocco and is confirmed as our commercial partner," he said.
Sound Energy says it is basing its option on the experience of Afriquia Gaz, which is well known. This means that the choice is not made at random. "Afriquia Gaz holds a significant share of the Moroccan LNG market, they know the market, they are very financially sound, and their main shareholder is one of the largest conglomerates in Morocco. The LNG market is new in Morocco and we cannot think of a better partner to penetrate the market," said Lyon, who thus sees promising prospects opening up for Sound Energy.
