The inhabitants and professionals of the city of Melilla are beginning to seriously worry about the non-arrival of fish from Morocco. Yesterday was the second day the city did not receive any fish from the kingdom.
In addition to its human cost, with the death of several carriers, mainly women, the smuggling of goods with the two cities of Melilla and Ceuta has a financial and economic cost that is increasingly difficult for the Moroccan authorities to bear.
The radical solution is being considered by the Moroccan authorities who wish, within a period of 5 to 10 years, to put an end to smuggling with the cities of Sebta and Melilla, in northern Morocco.
