Sidi Ifni Authorities Demolish Illegal Beach Structures in Coastal Cleanup

The local authorities of Sidi Ifni are carrying out an operation to free the public maritime domain, proceeding to demolish illegal constructions on the beaches of the province.
This operation was launched after the expiration of the one-month deadline granted by the regional delegation of Equipment and Water of Sidi Ifni to the owners of cafes and restaurants, as well as to the residents of the huts illegally installed on the public domain, to vacate the premises, reports Al Akhbar.
The regional delegation had summoned the illegal occupants to leave the premises, under penalty of the full force of the law. With the one-month deadline having expired, the local authorities, with the support of the Royal Gendarmerie and the auxiliary forces, proceeded to demolish these illegal constructions along the beaches of the wilaya of Sidi Ifni.
