Sevilla Signs Moroccan Striker Youssef En-Nesyri for €20 Million

The Moroccan international, Youssef En-Nesyri, 22, has signed with FC Sevilla until 2025 for an amount of 20 million euros.
"The striker will be linked to the ’blanquirroja’ institution for the rest of the season and five more years, that is, until June 30, 2025," Sevilla reported on Thursday in a press release, picked up by international media. While the club remains vague on the transfer amount, the Spanish press estimates it at around 20 million euros.
At 21, the young Moroccan prodigy, trained at Malaga, played the Russian World Cup and scored a goal against Spain (2-2). This goal was not enough to save his team, which had already been eliminated during the group stage.
Transferred to Leganés, where he was a starter 53 times over a season and a half, the Moroccan striker scored 15 goals and was named top scorer in the first division in the history of the small club in the Madrid suburbs, according to the AFP. At Sevilla, the Moroccan player is called upon to strengthen the attack, weakened by the departure, to Hoffenheim, of the Israeli Munas Dabbur.
