Severe Cold Snap Hits Morocco: Temperatures Plunge to -7°C in Multiple Regions

The cold has indeed returned to several Moroccan regions with temperatures dropping well below 0 degrees.
In a special bulletin, the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) places several provinces on orange alert with temperatures reaching up to -7 degrees. This will be the case, for example, in the Saiss, the Oriental, the northern and central plains, but also in the reliefs and high plateaus, the phosphate plateaus and Oulmès and in the southeast.
This weather is expected to continue at least until tomorrow, the National Meteorology Directorate specifies.
On the other hand, no rain in sight, worry the farmers, especially in the Mohammedia region. Quoted by 2m, a farmer says she is eagerly awaiting the "saving rains". "It rained enough in October, unlike these last few weeks, but we remain hopeful," she confides.
