Scorching Heat Wave: Moroccan Cities Join World’s Hottest as Temperatures Soar Past 45°C

Three Moroccan cities are among the 15 cities that recorded the highest temperatures in the world on Sunday morning, according to the Eldorado Weather website, which specializes in weather forecasts.
With a temperature of 46.4 degrees Celsius, the city of Ben Guérir ranked 10th in the world. The city of Kénitra occupies the 14th place in the world with a temperature of 45.8 degrees Celsius, while the city of Taroudant, with a temperature of over 45 degrees Celsius, closes this list of the 15 cities that recorded the highest temperatures in the world on Sunday morning.
The city of Kuwait, in Kuwait, tops this ranking, with a temperature of 48.3 degrees Celsius. It is followed by the city of Al-Ahsa, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, second with about 48.8 degrees Celsius and the city of Al-Fahud, in the Sultanate of Oman, third with a temperature of 47.2 degrees Celsius.
The city of Al-Ain, in the United Arab Emirates, is in fifth place with a temperature of 46.9 degrees Celsius. The cities of Al-Qaisumah, in Saudi Arabia, and Bordj Badji Mokhtar, in Algeria, ranked 8th and 11th in the world respectively. Other cities in the Gulf region are also on this list.
