Schengen Visa Fees to Increase: EU Raises Cost to 80 Euros Starting February 2

Schengen visa fees will increase from this Sunday, February 2, 2020. This is the decision of the European Union.
Any applicant for a short-stay Schengen visa will now have to pay 80 euros instead of 60 euros, with the exception of children. These fees increase from 35 to 40 euros for children aged between 6 and 12 years old.
This decision of the European Union, which takes effect from Sunday, February 2, will be applied in all the member states of the Schengen area.
