Saint-Ouen Mayor Garners Global Spotlight Ahead of Paris Olympics

Karim Bouamrane, PS mayor of Saint-Ouen since 2020, never misses an opportunity to promote his city in the foreign media. After The Guardian (UK), El País (Spain) and Der Spiegel (Germany), the mayor of the city that will host the Olympic Village next July has recently made the cover of the New York Times.
Of Moroccan origin, Karim Bouamrane made the cover of the famous American newspaper in its mid-April edition. "While the Olympics haven’t even started yet, this French mayor has already won it all," the front page read. "We have a vision of the concrete for Saint-Ouen and that pleases the United States
