Sahrawi Officials Accuse Morocco of Destabilizing Maghreb with Foreign Support

Nafaâ Mustapha, director of external relations at the Ministry of National Defense of the "Sahrawi Republic", during the 13th edition of the Polisario Front summer university for executives, made serious accusations against Morocco.
The Moroccan intelligence services are planning and implementing programs aimed at destabilizing the Maghreb region with foreign support, Nafaâ Mustapha said on Saturday in Boumerdès. From his explanations, it appears that the Moroccan intelligence services are trying to sow chaos and instability in the region, "in coordination and exchanging roles with the Zionist entity". According to him, the role of these services would be manifested by "the dissemination of poisons and the creation of instability by continuing to occupy the Sahrawi territories, by violating the rights of Sahrawi citizens and by trying to exterminate the Sahrawi people through repression".
"The continued pursuit by the Sahrawi army of its war of attrition against Morocco categorically contradicts the latter’s claims to an illusory superiority," said Habouha Abdallah Abrika, commander of the fourth military region of the "Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR)". According to him, the Moroccan economy is "fragile" and the political, economic and social conditions of Morocco "do not allow it to continue this war. It will therefore one day give in to the will of the Sahrawi people and their right to self-determination".
The Sahrawi diplomat, Mustapha Mohamed El-Amin, accuses Morocco of trying "to undermine the morale of the Sahrawis by using traditional and modern media, as well as social networks, to disseminate in particular rumors and destructive and misleading ideas". He urges the Sahrawis "to confront the kingdom in order to ’protect Sahrawi society and preserve its unity, by adopting a comprehensive strategy in this area’".
