Ryanair Warns: Print Boarding Passes for Flights from Morocco, Turkey, and Albania

Ryanair reminds travelers of the obligation to print boarding passes when departing from airports in Morocco, Turkey, and Tirana (Albania), which are not yet able to process digital boarding passes.
"It is imperative that customers traveling from Morocco, Turkey, or Tirana print their boarding pass after completing online check-in," the Irish low-cost airline further emphasized in a statement, specifying that the airports concerned "do not yet have scanners capable of scanning electronic passes." Travelers who do not meet this condition risk being denied boarding, without the possibility of a refund. This particularly affects passengers departing from Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, from where several Ryanair flights connect to European destinations.
The airline also reminds of its baggage policy, emphasizing that only one handbag measuring 40 x 20 x 25 cm is allowed on board at no extra cost. Travelers carrying a cabin bag with a maximum weight of 10 kg (allowed dimensions: 55 x 40 x 20 cm) will have to pay an additional fee. Checking in hold luggage also requires an additional fee that can reach 15 euros (165 dirhams) per excess kilo, depending on the weight (10 kg or 20 kg) and dimensions of the package (maximum allowed: 80 x 120 x 120 cm).
Similarly, any irregularity in the check-in procedure (absence of printed card, late arrival at the airport), or any name change on the ticket incurs additional costs of up to 100 euros (about 1,100 dirhams) per passenger and per journey. Thus, the careless traveler will pay 50 euros (about 550 dirhams) for airport check-in rather than online. Also, travelers requesting a change of time or destination electronically will incur a charge of 50 euros per segment. "Ryanair reserves the right to deny boarding to any passenger not complying with its pricing and operational rules," concludes the note.
