Ryanair Passenger Sues After Agent Tears Up Baggage Fee Document in Moroccan Airport Drama

A passenger on a Ryanair flight has announced his intention to initiate legal proceedings against the company and one of its agents following an incident that occurred at Tétouan-Saniat R’mel airport on July 5th. The dispute concerned the payment of fees for excess baggage.
This man from Marrakech was traveling with his son on a flight to Marrakech-Ménara. He was informed that his bags exceeded the authorized weight and was asked to pay the corresponding fees at the company’s office. According to the facts reported by kech24, the processing of this transaction experienced a significant delay.
Due to the proximity of the departure time, the passenger reported the slowness of the procedure. In response, a customer service agent allegedly tore up the document necessary for payment in front of several witnesses.
The intervention of a third party helped resolve the situation, and the passenger was able to board his flight just before departure. A source close to the complainant confirmed that a complaint would be filed against the agent and the airline.
