Ryanair Faces Potential Flight Cancellations as Spanish Cabin Crew Plan 6-Day Strike

The airline Ryanair risks canceling flights operated to Morocco again. This is because the USO and SITCPLA unions, representing cabin crew in Spain, are planning a six-day strike.
After the SNPNC-FO, representing flight attendants at Ryanair in France, it is the turn of the USO (Union Syndicale Ouvrière) and SITCPLA (Syndicat Indépendant du Personnel Navigant Aérien) unions, representing cabin crew in Spain, to call for a work stoppage. They have announced a national strike of six days which will take place from Friday, June 24 to Sunday, June 26, 2022, as well as from Thursday, June 30 to Saturday, July 2, reports Air Journal. The two unions intend to "force" the Irish low-cost company to respect the "fundamental rights" of workers and to guarantee "decent" working conditions for employees.
USO and SITCPLA are not enthusiastic about the agreement reached between Ryanair, "the only international airline not to have a collective agreement defining the working conditions of its Spanish employees," and the minority union CCOO. This agreement includes "minimum wage and flight time provisions".
