Ryanair Expands with New Seasonal Routes from Morocco to France

Subject to the lifting of travel restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the low-cost airline Ryanair plans to launch this summer in Perpignan-South of France, four seasonal connections, from Charleroi, Marrakech, London and Birmingham.

The Irish specialist in low-cost flights wants to launch flights from Marrakech-Menara to Perpignan-Rivesaltes airport from May 1st, reports Air journal. Flights will thus be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays from May 1st to October 30th. Similarly, Rynair will serve Perpignan-Rivesaltes airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays from its base in Charleroi-Brussels South from March 30 to October 30, 2021.

The low-cost company will operate Boeing 737-800s with 189 seats on Wednesdays and Sundays from June 2 to October 27 on flights from Birmingham, a destination already offered in 2013, to Perpignan. Finally, Ryanair will launch a route to London-Stansted with two to four weekly rotations which are displayed from June 1 to October 30, with two and four weekly rotations from June 1 to October 30. The flights will initially be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays, plus Thursdays and Sundays from July 2021.

Ryanair is not in competition with any airline on these routes. It "is betting on southern France, in emission and reception. We can only welcome the announcement of the four summer connections at Perpignan-Rivesaltes airport, three of which are outside the European Union, which is bold..." commented a leader of Bourse-Des-Vols, the French specialist in low-cost flights.
