Ryanair Doubles Airport Arrival Time for Moroccan Flights, Imposes Late Fees

The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair values the punctuality of its flights to Morocco and other destinations. Travelers are now required to arrive earlier at the airport.
Ryanair tightens its boarding procedures. From May 1st, boarding will be carried out up to 40 minutes before departure instead of 20. This measure aims to "promote the importance of arriving early at the airport," reports Air Journal. Late passengers will be denied boarding. They will be asked to take the next flight by paying a "missed departure fee" of 100 euros.
In addition to these "missed departure fees," they will also face penalties and paid options from the Irish low-cost airline. Check-in at the airport counter will no longer be free. Late passengers must pay an additional 55 euros. The company also intends to end paper boarding passes on November 3, 2025.
