Ryanair Hikes Ticket Prices for Summer Flights to Europe

"[...] Based on about 50% of all bookings, we expect prices to be up over the summer. [...] It seems to us that there will be higher prices during the peak summer period because there is strong demand for European beaches," Michael O’Leary said on the BBC’s Today program.

He hopes for a drop in prices next winter. "I think prices will be low next winter. But it’s too early to say. It’s clear there will be an economic slowdown, we fear a recession and, in the event of a recession, the cheapest provider, which in the UK and Europe is Ryanair, will fare better," he relativized.
