Russia Considers Aid Requests from Morocco and Other Arab Nations Amid COVID-19 Crisis

Morocco would have requested assistance from Russia to overcome the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, according to statements from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to the press center statement of the ministry, several other Arab countries have turned to Russia to overcome the effects of the crisis, including Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania and Palestine.
These requests, currently under study, should have a favorable outcome, according to the statements of the director of the FAO office in charge of relations with Russia, who announced on Monday that his country is able to assist countries seeking assistance.
For the record, the figures recorded in Russia on Monday, April 27, present a worrying health situation. With 87,147 confirmed cases, the country has just surpassed the epicenter of the epidemic, China.
