Royal Computers Stolen: Police Launch Investigation at Moroccan King’s Secretariat

The prefectural services of the Judicial Police of Rabat, in consultation with the technical and scientific laboratory of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), have been conducting field investigations for a week to find the thieves of 3 computers from the King’s Private Secretariat.
The sudden disappearance of the computers caused confusion among the employees of the King’s Private Secretariat and the Royal Cabinet, who, suspecting a premeditated act, called on the police services to open an investigation.
According to the daily Assabah, the mission was entrusted to the Prefect of the Judicial Police of Rabat, whose elements have started a combing operation of all the shops in the old Medina.
The police investigations are ongoing in this large market, in the hope of finding the three computers, which are believed to contain sensitive data on the missions of the employees within the Secretariat and the Royal Cabinet.
The daily adds that 5 individuals have been summoned by the Judicial Police services, for their alleged involvement in the theft of the 3 computers. However, this has not allowed the investigation to make any progress.
