Royal Air Maroc Travel Ban US Entry Requirements 2024
Following recent American health directives, Royal Air Maroc bans boarding to the United States for travelers who have transited through three African countries in the last three weeks. Very limited exemptions remain possible under certain strict conditions.
The new restrictions imposed by Washington are disrupting flight plans. In order to align with the requirements of American health and customs authorities, the Moroccan national airline now refuses access to its aircraft departing for the American continent to any person who has stayed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, or South Sudan. This formal ban applies systematically if passage through one of these three territories occurred within the twenty-one days preceding the scheduled arrival on United States soil.

This drastic measure nevertheless provides some adjustments. Travelers benefiting from an exemption granted by American authorities retain their right to travel, but their itinerary is modified accordingly. They must necessarily land at specific airports, designated in advance, where they will undergo thorough medical examinations upon disembarking. Facing this complex situation, the Moroccan airline urgently invites all its potentially affected customers to ensure their travel eligibility before even presenting themselves at departure.
