Royal Air Maroc Passengers Stranded for 48 Hours at Casablanca Airport Without Food or Assistance

About twenty passengers bound for Brazil experienced a real nightmare at the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca. Deprived of sleep and food, the travelers spent 48 hours in very difficult conditions, with no consideration for them from the Royal Air Maroc officials.
Forced to remain in a room for more than five hours, without food or water, the 20 passengers received no information from the national airline, and even less from the officials of the country’s largest airport.
According to Hespress, they did not benefit from the hotel stay, granted by right, according to the International Civil Aviation Organization, in the event of long flight delays.
The situation worsened following the cancellation of the substitute flight and the registration of passengers on an Italian airline. The latter spent hours waiting before realizing that it was a connecting flight transiting through the Italian capital, Rome.
Abandoned to their fate and deprived of food and assistance, the passengers decided to file a complaint against the travel agency.
