Royal Air Maroc Offers Free COVID-19 Coverage for International Travelers

Faced with the spread of the coronavirus, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has decided to offer its customers free international coverage up to 150,000 euros. The airline has just set up an international assistance service that passengers can use in the event of a positive infection contracted during a trip abroad.
In a press release, the airline indicates that this service is made available to RAM passengers who have purchased an international flight during the period from December 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021. Subscription to this assistance program, set up with Allianz Partners and Maroc Assistance Internationale, is automatic when purchasing the RAM ticket. It covers the passenger from boarding the RAM flight for a maximum stay of 31 days.
Thus, if the passenger tests positive for Covid-19 during a trip abroad, he will be able to benefit from the coverage of his medical expenses related to the pandemic up to a maximum of 150,000 €, his accommodation expenses related to the mandatory quarantine during the trip up to 100 €/day for a maximum period of 14 days, as well as his repatriation expenses in the event of death due to the pandemic, specifies RAM.
