Royal Air Maroc Flight Delay Strands Passengers, Disrupts Egypt Travel Plans

Passengers missed their connection to Egypt, following the postponement of a flight from Agadir to Casablanca. Initially scheduled at 9:45 p.m., the flight was postponed by two hours by Royal Air Maroc, without taking the precaution of notifying the passengers.
Three passengers in transit were supposed to take the Agadir-Casablanca flight, before connecting with an Egyptian Airlines flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Al Massira Airport in Agadir, they discovered that the flight had been postponed, without any prior notice from RAM, which will systematically cancel their next flight to Egypt.
Frustrated, one of the three passengers addressed an open letter to the Minister of Tourism and Air Transport, Mohammed Sajid, asking him to intervene with the Company so that he could travel to Cairo and attend the Morocco-Benin match on Friday, July 5.
The author of the letter, who published it on Facebook, stated that all the passengers were heading to Casablanca, except for three people, including his daughter, himself and a third traveler. These had a connection to Cairo at Mohammed V Airport.
