Royal Air Maroc Flight Aborts Takeoff at Paris-Orly Due to Engine Problem

A flight of the company Royal Air Maroc connecting Paris to Casablanca was forced to turn back, shortly before its takeoff from Paris-Orly airport. The cause was a technical problem that occurred on one of the aircraft’s engines.
The incident occurred as the Boeing 737, registered CN-ROJ, was about to take off from runway 24. Alerted by the monitoring system indications, the crew immediately decided not to take off and to wait for the technical teams.
The passengers were disembarked from the plane calmly. According to the first information, the technical problem concerned engine number 1 of the aircraft.
Technician teams went to the site to carry out the necessary repairs. Passengers were first informed of the delay of the plane and then of the cancellation of the flight. Alternative solutions were offered to them, including rescheduling their flight on another aircraft.
